1. Nature of Services

Smart Steps Education (admissionedge.in) provides career counselling, guidance, and support services related to college admissions, university selection, and course selection.

  • We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, or placements
  • Fees charged are for consultation, guidance, and support services only
  • Our role is to facilitate and guide — not to assure outcomes
  • We operate as an authorized education consultancy partner with MOUs with various universities

2. Cancellation Policy

a) By the User

  • Users may request cancellation of services by contacting us via email or phone
  • Cancellation requests must be made before the commencement of the service
  • Once counselling or guidance has been provided, cancellation may not be eligible for refund
  • Cancellation requests should be sent to connect@admissionedge.in with the subject line "Cancellation Request"

b) By Smart Steps Education

  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse services in cases such as:
    • Incomplete or incorrect information provided by the user
    • Misuse of services or inappropriate conduct
    • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
  • In such cases, applicable refunds (if any) will be processed at our discretion

3. Refund Policy

a) Eligibility for Refund

Refunds may be considered only under the following conditions:

  • Payment made for a service that has not yet been initiated
  • Duplicate or excess payment made by mistake
  • Service cannot be delivered due to internal limitations
Important Note: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the payment date for consideration. Requests beyond this period will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

b) Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Once counselling or consultation services have been delivered
  • After profile evaluation, college shortlisting, or admission guidance has started
  • If a user is dissatisfied with admission outcomes or results
  • Failure to secure admission, scholarship, or placement in a preferred college
  • Change of mind after service delivery has begun
  • Incorrect information provided by the user leading to admission issues
  • Delays caused by universities or third-party institutions
No Guarantee of Admission: Smart Steps Education provides guidance and support services only. We do not guarantee admission to any specific university or program. Final admission decisions rest solely with the respective universities.

4. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval
  • Refunds will be issued through the original mode of payment, wherever possible
  • Bank processing times may vary depending on the payment gateway or bank (typically 3-7 additional days)
  • For cash payments, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or cheque
  • Payment gateway charges, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount

5. Service Modifications

In some cases, instead of a refund, we may offer:

  • Rescheduling of counselling sessions to a later date
  • Adjustments to services based on user requirements
  • Credit towards future consultancy services (valid for 6 months)
  • Alternative guidance or support options
  • Transfer of services to another eligible candidate (with prior approval)

Any service modifications will be discussed and agreed upon with the user before implementation.

6. Dispute Resolution & Grievance Redressal

In case of any dispute regarding refunds or cancellations:

  • Users must first contact our support team to resolve the issue amicably
  • If unresolved, the matter will be escalated to our Grievance Officer
  • Any legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan
  • All disputes will be governed by the laws of India
